In Ancient times, our Ancestors lived in awareness of the cycles of the Stars.

To balance this, Hippocrates would prescribe herbs which held the energy of the elements that were lacking in that Person's constitution, and thereby bring about a healthy state of Wholeness.

Based upon the honored  title given him, I'd say his approach must have been rather successful !

Besides the elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water, the Zodiac wheel is also composed of the qualities Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.
